Our twin track approach to the living sector is shaped by a powerful purpose: to address the housing crisis and climate crisis head on. To make this a reality, we are driving the development of a new generation of Build to Rent (BTR) properties across the UK.

Authentic and sympathetic to each local area, our design-led projects will set a new standard; breathing a fresh lease of life into heritage buildings, effecting adaptive reuse and change-of-use of the current living environment, and delivering a low-carbon future by retaining existing structures and creating new timber-led mid-rise developments.

For future development, we have acquired three prominent buildings for timber-led re-use in Clerkenwell, Soho and Manchester’s CBD.

We commit to net-zero carbon aligned with the 1.5°C target using the UK Net Zero Carbon Building Standard as our guiding principle. Our properties prioritise timber in construction, as a renewable, low-carbon material. We are embedding circular economy principles into our buildings, from building passports to de-mountabilty. Our buildings are designed for resilience and to support healthy, connected communities with high quality jobs. Biodiversity is enhanced through dedicated green spaces, and all efforts are not just words, they are underpinned by measurable and trackable goals.

From Paradise in Lambeth, the UK’s lowest embodied carbon mass timber office, to a growing portfolio across workspace and living sectors, our strategy is clear: regeneration, not extraction.

As we continue to deliver low-carbon office refurbishments and timber-led redevelopments, we have now entered the living sector with a focus on developing and managing build to rent projects including studios, student, single and multi-family assets.

The foundation of our approach is the application of meticulous market research designed to identify scalable investment opportunities in high-conviction sectors and locations, and we seek to drive durable value enhancement through a combination of real estate and corporate level value creation initiatives.
